Have a Blessed Ramadhan 🌙 (with a free wreath design)

Ramadhan Mubarak!

Fasting is not unique only to the Muslims. It has been observed for centuries by Christians, Jews, Hindus and other religions.⁣ God mentions this fact in the Quran :⁣

“O you who believe, fasting is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for this before you, that you may develop God-consciousness.”
(Quran Surah Al Baqarah, 2:183)⁣

⁣「信仰する者よ,あなたがた以前の者に定められたようにあなたがたに斎戒が定められた。恐らくあなたがたは主を畏れるであろう。]」

Fasting is a secret worship between the person and God. This is because no one can be sure that any person is actually do fasting. Not only from the food and drink, but also any sexual activity. Each moments during the fasting, a person suppresses their worldly passion and the patient spirit helps in strengthening our faith. You can also feel the hunger of people in the other part of the world so that we should be more grateful for all blessings from God.

The Fast of Ramadhan, the fourth pillar of Islam, occurs once every year during the 9th lunar month. Allah in His infinite mercy has exempt the sick person, travelers, and other who are unable from fasting Ramadhan.

“[Fasting for] a limited number of days. So whoever among you is ill or on a journey [during them] – then an equal number of days [are to be made up]. And upon those who are able [to fast, but with hardship] – a ransom [as substitute] of feeding a poor person [each day]. And whoever volunteers excess – it is better for him. But to fast is best for you, if you only knew.”
(Quran Surah Al Baqarah, 2:184)

This year Ramadhan will be very different since the places of worship has been closed to prevent the corona virus spreading. May we enter Ramadhan in a calm and well-prepared of worship and attentiveness to our duties as the creations of Allah. Happy Ramadhan, enjoy as it your last.

Message of Hope : Study of Surah al Kahf

وَرَبُّكَ ٱلۡغَفُورُ ذُو ٱلرَّحۡمَةِۖ-1The month of Ramadhan is around the corner, and most people now is locked up at home following the emergency state declaration against covid-19 spreading. Thank God today is Friday (Jumu’ah), and as usual we can see a lot of reminders about recommended practices on this day, including sending abundant salutations upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and recitation of Surah al Kahf.

Have you ever wondered why we read Surah al-Kahf on a weekly basis? There must a reason that Allah want us to find, to improve our relationship between us and Him. InshaAllah as we ponder and reflect through this Surah, we will find peace in our heart, mind and soul in submission to Allah.

The Story of Revelation
This chapter was revealed in Mecca, and it was sent down to answer three questions that had been put to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in order to test his Prophethood. According to the narration, the Quraysh sent al-Nadhar ibn al Harith and Uqbah bin Abi Muith to the rabbis of Madinah to ask them about Muhammad.

They (the rabbis) replied, ‘Ask him about three things, and if he answers, then he is a Prophet who has sent (by Allah); if not, then his call is not true, in which case how you will deal with him will be up to you. Ask him about some young men in ancient times, what was their story. For theirs is a strange and wondrous tale. Ask him about a man who travelled a great deal and reached the east and the west of the earth. And ask him about the Rūh (soul or spirit) what is it. If he tells you about these things, then he is a prophet, so follow him, but if he does not, then he is a man who is making things up, so deal with him as you see fit.

La Petite Porte Cafe and Breakfast in Komatsu

La Petite Porte means the little door, French. We got this beautiful place recommendation from our Japanese friends of Arabic Club. They live in Komatsu city, about 20 minutes driving from our university area.

When we came here for the first time, we have called them in advance to secure some seats as we come in a small group of 6-8 people.
Just beside the restaurant, there is a souvenir and interior design shops we could also enjoy. It is so comfy and classy. How about we take a look of this place together?

Since it was about entering the praying time, we were trying to ask a permission to say our prayer inside the cafe. Knowing this, they understand swiftly and kindly allowed us to use their super-large hall to perform our prayer.

They also inform us the wash room to make ablution easily if necessary. We were so impressed with their excellent service.

Souvenir and interior design shop just located next to the restaurant.

Everyone who loves classic design would definitely love this place.
