Tafheemul Quran Chapter 101 : The Striking Disaster

This chapter was revealed in Mecca city. It describes the Resurrection and the weighing of deeds in the Hereafter, followed by the final destination to either Paradise or Hell. The reason why many people will end up in the Fire is given in the next chapter. Inshaallah we will continue to study again.

In the Name of Allah – the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful

Fate of the Rightous and the Wicked

  1. The Striking Disaster!
  2. What is the Striking Disaster?
  3. And what will make you realize what the Striking Disaster is?
  4. [It is] the Day people will be like scattered moths,
  5. and the mountains will be like carded wool.
  6. So as for those scale is heavy [with good deeds],
  7. they will be in a life of bliss.
  8. And as for those whose scale is light,
  9. their home will be the abyss.
  10. And what will make you realize what that is?
  11. [It is] a scorching Fire.

Preparing for The Last 10 Days of Ramadan

The last 10 nights are our opportunity to give our best in Ramadan. Here are some suggestions on things we can do, inshallah.

  1. Recite more the Quran.
  2. Pray Tahajjud even only 2 rakaats before having sahoor or fajr time.
  3. If you already have your dua list, check it again and make sure to include everything in your heart. Make dua also for all Muslim / Muslims ummah.
  4. Seek Laylatul Quad (the night of decree). Remember the Quran verse about the importance of it. “The Night of Power is better than a thousand months.” (Surah Al Qadr : 3)
  5. Give charity regularly even it’s just a coin or a piece of bread.
  6. Renew and purify your intentions.
  7. Take a social media break. Turn your screen time into deen time and make a lot of dhikr.
  8. Recite the best dua of the final 10 nights, the dua of Laylatul Qadr. “Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun, tuhibbul-‘afwa, fa’fu ‘anni”
[O Allah, You are Most Forgiving, and You love forgiveness, so forgive me].
  9. Seek the help of Allah to make easy on everything.

Sisters’ Day Out : Outdoor Picnic

Our first outdoor event after about 4 months break because of the emergency state situation. We enjoyed beautiful view from the outdoor terrace cafe near the park. Alhamdulillah 8 sisters and 4 children joined this lovely reunion.
The cafe served Japanese pancake menu which is so fluffy like a cloud. Thank you all sisters for joining our event. Let us know any idea or suggestion for upcoming events inshaallah.
